About Your Relationship Coach, Milly Maharani
Milly was brought up in the tradition of Family Healing Therapy in beautiful Bali, Indonesia. Her grandfather was a Natural Energy Healer (Touch Healing Therapy). He healed people who had physical and emotional problems, even broken bones, and taught families and children how to meditate.
Meditation facilitates going into a state of relaxation and helps people to access their subconscious mind and their spiritual self. In order to create rapid change in someones life, they first need to be in this particular state of relaxation so that they can connect to their deepest self, and thereby transform their creative emotion to take action and change their life.
Milly’s father is a traditional family counselor and community leader. In the 1980-90s, he helped many people who had relationship problems. At that time, Milly saw her father counsel families, even with a man who married two women (therefore having two wives).
Every week, she saw many women come to her parent’s house, needing her father’s help to help him solve their problems. As a child she was always curious about what was going on with the people that she saw coming to her house for counsel by her father, and at the end of the each day she would listen to her father and grandfather’s powerful discussions about how to help those women to overcome their problems and get their family back together.
With the help from her grandfather, her father created a system to help these people. All of the women would stay at her parent’s home for weeks. She saw how her father guided them and helped them to help themselves, and to heal and transform their entire family. Obviously, as a 7 year old child she did not really understand what was going on, but maybe from that time on, caring for other women has subconsciously become part of Milly’s life.
Miss Match Maker
Time went by, and during Milly’s high school period she was called “Miss Problem Solver” because every time her friends had problems Milly was always there to help, ease their pain and find inner peace.
In her late teens, her friends started to call her “Miss Match Maker”, because she taught and helped her friends to attract and keep the man/woman they wanted until they got married. Because Milly grew up in a tourist area, there was always a Western influence in the places where she would go to hang out with her friends. Already at that time she was a big influence in helping her friends to meet, attract and keep their partner. Not just local men but also men from different nationalities, she inspired them to overcome cultural differences and supported them to create trusting and lasting relationships.
However, as it often goes with coaches… that was not the love story in Milly’s life.
Like many of us, Milly doesn’t look like a super model. Although she will not admit it herself, she’s attractive and beautiful from inside out, with no problems attracting men.
Nevertheless, there certainly have been other problems…
Milly’s first boyfriend cheated on her and the other woman got pregnant. After three difficult months, life went on and Milly eventually felt like herself again.
The next relationship she found herself in a committed relationship for four years. As she lived with him during that time — even if three of those years were a disaster — she felt that it was like a marriage.
But Milly was always giving, until eventually she had nothing left to give. At the end of the relationship, Milly had developed such a low self-esteem of herself that she was always worrying, waking up in the middle of the night, thinking she was not good enough, feeling she had failed her family, feeling alone, thinking neither he nor anybody loved her…
Can You Relate/Recognize Some Of This?
She was in a relationship but felt so lonely, and started to sabotage herself buying things that she didn’t need. Just to make herself feel better. Unfortunately that only worked for an hour or two. Then her sadness would fall back on her. He ended up leaving Milly, saying he loved her but that he couldn’t stay in the relationship anymore.
Isn’t it strange, that even though she didn’t feel the relationship was good, it broke her heart? But it did. It broke her heart big time, and it was as if her world fell to pieces.
Obviously, at the beginning of a break up, you always blame the other party, however Milly put double the amount of stress on herself by blaming herself for the breakup of their relationship.
Milly stayed alone in her room for weeks and cried and cried until there were no tears left, and one night she said “enough is enough.”
In her loneliness, and in some moments of silence, Milly came to the sudden realisation that when she began to listen to her inner being, she got answers of an infinite wisdom, and started to have long conversations with herself, asking herself “Why do I do what I do?”, “Why do I do things that cause me grief and so much pain?”. She started to identify what was happening; and realised it was a deep-seeded disappointment and pain that was left unresolved from her first relationship.
So she asked herself this question: “Why did a woman like me, who grew up in a traditional loving family, and has helped most of her friends solve their relationship problems and find their romantic partners, experience heartbreak and so much pain in her own love life?”
Here Is What Milly Has To Say:

In my personal perspective and with what I know now, it’s all about human experiences and how we give meaning to those experiences. When we experience something like pain, disappointment and heartbreak, most of us do not know how to handle these challenging times and how to heal ourselves. Rather we push the pain down, deep inside ourselves, and pretend that it’s not there anymore, and that we are healed and ready to jump into another relationship again.
However, after a few months in the relationship, things begin to change. Many times that strange yucky feeling starts to recur… A feeling that causes us to unconsciously repeat our past patterns. It is an unconscious pattern, we don’t know that it’s there, and that it is at the root of sabotaging the happiness, joy, and romance we seek. And often we say to ourselves, “Why is this happening to me again and again?!”
As we are all different people with different life experiences, there are different reasons that lie at the root of a subconscious sabotaging pattern. It might be our upbringing and our experiences related to the people around us, however, many times it is our past heartbreak and pain — which can go as far back as a seemingly meaningless childhood experience — that is not healed; it is actually hidden deep down within ourselves.
I realised that I had to overcome my relationship repetitive syndrome, so I started to look at myself in the mirror, started reading, and listening, as I went back to my father again. I allowed myself to be vulnerable in front of him and told him that I needed his help.
My father shared a rather simple technique with me, and I was willing to use it in my life and specifically in my love life. Since using this technique, my entire life has started to transform in ways beyond imagination.
Now I have a wonderful, loving and caring relationship with my family. I attracted an amazing partner who loves me for who I am, and encourages me to pursue my passions and interests. We feel so good together that sometimes we need a little help from outside, to let ourselves know that we are not alone…
You Can Change Your Life Too
During the years I’ve found that many of my friends and coaching clients go through similar challenges. For some, their challenges go far beyond mine in their love life. And although I can’t promise that I can help everyone, or have a solution for everything, I can promise you that I am here to help you from my passionate heart, because you deserve lasting happiness in your life. And if I can change my life and my love life, you can change yours too.
I know deep inside that there is a solution for everyone. We just need to find it, to see it, and to belief in it. And that is what relationship coaching is all about. I’m here to help you, facilitate the process, and share strategies and techniques you can use for the rest of your life, not only to transform your romantic relationship and love life, but also to transform any challenges you’ll face in your life.
But the first step will need to come from you.
If you feel you are ready for a change, just call me, and we’ll soon find out if I’m the right coach for you, and if you are the right client for me…
Yes, you see, I don’t take anyone and everyone as a client. If you move forward to be coached by me, I will need some kind of commitment from you too. But let’s find out if we are a good match, so please feel free to contact me to see whether we can work together.
If we work together or not, whatever your choice, I wish you love, peace, romance and happiness.
